Creative Dance Photography is a unique style that captures the beauty and passion of the dance through the lenses. For this MFA graduate dance photography project I started with the concept of "controlled chaos" to convey a unique vision and creative approach.
With Turkish dancer, aerialist and choreographer Gulay [pronounced Joo-lye] as my muse, I explored her body through movement, carefully capturing the pace of her floorplay, aerial expertise and contortions.
It was important to showcase the flexibility and skill of the performer in the natural dance environs.
